Diana specializes in mindfulness-based, trauma-informed therapy for individuals and couples navigating depression, anxiety, chronic stress, life transitions, and challenges with authentic self-expression. She offers a grounded, compassionate presence and a trusted therapeutic relationship where clients can safely explore their inner world. Drawing on extensive training in Hakomi, somatic therapy, Family Constellations, and Eco-Psychology, Diana gently helps clients uncover the roots of their struggles while staying attuned to present-moment experience. Her work supports the integration of fragmented parts into a cohesive, empowered sense of self—opening space for clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

Expanded States of Consciousness
Psychotherapy and Ketamine have been growing in popularity, as significant studies and anecdotal evidence has been overwhelmingly positive and safe for the treatment of trauma, depression and anxiety. Ketamine disrupts the default mode network, which is the automatic and conditioned way of thinking and perceiving that contributes to suffering and stuckness. The Non-Ordinary State of Consciousness (NOSC) created by this disruption can activate your body’s natural healing intelligence, allowing you to look at yourself, others and the world in a different way, outside of conditioned thought and belief systems. Research has shown that ketamine can facilitate Neuroplasticity, the ability of neural networks in the brain to change through growth and reorganization. The brain is rewired to function in a healthier way. Integration is the key element in establishing this change and we go into great detail about how to maximize the integration of the NOSC experiences.

I offer individual one on one, couples and group ketamine sessions. Please inquire into what is right for you, I am committed to personalizing the most effective experience in conjunction with my Medical prescriber Dr. Zeus Ramirez, MD, MSW.

Ketamine one on one and groups at the Berkeley Alembic Meditation center

*Important*
You must get connected with the MD prescriber for a medical intake to see if you're eligible for ketamine treatment and lozenge (sublingual ketamine) prescription.
The group space can be very supportive in that it gives you an experience of not feeling alone, new perspectives and ideas from others who are going through similar growth.

The group ketamine experience can be especially potent, in that it amplifies the non dual awareness that can bring creative innovation and an experience of a wider perspective in the fellowship of others.

Often we do this deep, transformational work alone or with one other person, but with a small group and two facilitators holding the masculine and feminine polarity, a new experience of feeling held and supported can take root in the psyche.

The two facilitators: Diana justl LMFT and Rich Mertes CHP:

Both Practitioners of the Hakomi method of somatic, mindfulness-based psychotherapy, Diana and Rich have been leading groups for over a decade.

Family Constellations is a profound therapeutic approach that uncovers hidden dynamics in families, relationships, and ancestral systems. Based on the work of Bert Hellinger and expanded through Diana’s extensive training as an LMFT, Hakomi certified Somatic therapist, as well as years of assisting with Mark Wolynn’s professional programs, this modality helps clients resolve inherited trauma, emotional entanglements, and unconscious loyalties that shape our lives in unseen ways.

How Sessions Work:

In One-on-One Sessions:
Rather than using people in the usual group constellation setting, individual sessions utilize footprints (placeholders on the floor) as representatives. Clients move between these footprints to physically and emotionally "step into" different roles within the system. This embodied experience fosters compassion and insight as they witness the perspectives of others in their family field.
This method is highly effective and empowering—it gives clients tools to explore and practice the footprint process independently, deepening their connection to inner guidance and healing over time.

Daylong description:
Ketamine psychotherapy is a powerful catalyst for transformation through releasing the blockages of what keep us from leading a more authentic life. Join us through Somatic resourcing (movement and gentle stretching to get us embodied), ritual and group support to access this non dual space in fellowship with others.

A small group of 6-8 co journeyers will gather in the sacred space of the Berkeley Alembic Dharma center with two facilitators versed in psychedelic trauma informed group work to offer a daylong journey of transformation.

We will accompany the journey with live sound healing, sharing circles, prep and integration online sessions before and after. You will meet your fellow co journeyers ahead of time online for group prep. Diana will offer a one on one consultation session as well before you meet the group members to go over what the group space can offer in terms of your specific healing journey.

Price for 1 online group prep session, 1 ketamine assisted session 4hrs, 1 online integration session: $800

Medical intake with the prescribing doctor is an extra charge, sliding scale $250-$350. He will go over any questions, concerns, contraindications and recommendations for treatment.

Please ask if you would like to attend and cannot afford this rate, a possibility of reduced rate based on circumstances could be discussed.

What an individual therapy sessions can look like (without ketamine)
We will often start with a grounding exercise to arrive & transition from more outer awareness to an inner focus, landing on a theme or intention for the session.
We will explore where you are at currently & look at what is important for your session. Through a blend of talk therapy
& experiential exercises, we will discover what is most essential to your well being. Each session will be different,
organically arising from collaboration & offering many experiential tools for growth. I have been trained in using touch as a somatic psychotherapy modality and can incorporate reiki and body work on a massage table or sitting down.

Therapy online:
There are studies on how online therapy is just as beneficial as in person, it can offer powerful sessions without having to commute to an office. I use a platform compliant with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences confidentiality protocols. I reach clients all over the world in this online audio and video therapy, offering ongoing mindfulness based programs, coaching sessions and talk therapy sessions for people who cannot make in person sessions. Relax in the comfort of your own home and enjoy the benefits of ongoing sessions.

What a private yoga or small group session can look like:

I offer therapeutic yoga & meditation for indivduals and small groups of 2-10 members. We will start with a check in where you will have the chance to speak about where you are at & what you would like out of the session. You will be listened to in loving presence. I will reflect back a theme to help formulate an intention for practice and some ideas about poses, breath work and meditations that will help support your well being. I will lead a yoga & meditation practice tailored to individual needs, cultivating the individual or group intention. We will end with a check out, where you will express where you are at & if anything is needed for further support or completion. I also offer rites of passage and embodiment to teens who benefit from the confidence and social skills built in feeling empowered and expressive in groups.

Self Healing Tibetan Yoga
Nejang
(pronounced nay-jahng) is a traditional Tibetan healing yoga drawn from the medical and spiritual sciences of Tibetan Buddhism. The word means “cleansing the sites of the subtle channels.” It combines gentle movements, targeted breathwork, and visualization to harmonize body, energy, and mind. Unlike yoga asana (which emphasizes postures, flexibility, and physical conditioning), Nejang works directly with the body’s subtle energy system (tsa, or channels) through breath retention, visualization, and focused awareness.

What to Expect in Practice:
Short sequences of simple movements (accessible to most body types, no complex postures).
Coordinated breathing patterns (inhalation, retention, exhalation) often synchronized with visualization of energy flow or light.
A meditative quality—calming the nervous system while activating internal vitality.
Gentle inner heat practices that awaken circulation, digestion, and subtle awareness.

Short 10-20 minute Nejang sessions can provide the benefits of hours of regular yoga asana. Designed for Tibetan doctors and healing arts practitioners who have full busy lives, it directly combines breath retention, visualization, and targeted energy movements—This efficiency comes from its precise integration of body, breath, and mind drawn from Tibetan Buddhist yogic science and Kalachakra Tantra.
